Terms

Burrow is a free, open-source bridge that lets you talk to Claude Code on your own home machine from your phone. By using Burrow you agree to the simple terms below.
What Burrow is
Burrow has three parts: a relay (this server), a worker (Python daemon you run on your home machine), and a Progressive Web App (this site). Source is on GitHub.
Your account, your worker, your costs
- You bring your own Claude Code authentication. Burrow runs whatever Claude Code reads — subscription, Anthropic API, Bedrock, Vertex. Your usage is billed by them, not us.
- You run the worker on hardware you control. Anything Claude does in your project directory — files it reads, edits, or runs — is your responsibility, just as it would be running Claude Code locally.
- The worker uses
--dangerously-skip-permissionsbecause there's no human on the worker's machine to approve each tool call. The trust model is the same as runningclaudein your own terminal.
What we don't promise
- No SLA. Burrow is a side project run by one person. Outages happen. The worker stays useful even when the relay is down — it'll resume on reconnect.
- No warranty. The software is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from use of Burrow.
- We don't backstop your prompts or replies — the worker's local JSONL archive is the durable record. The relay buffers in RAM only (see Privacy).
Acceptable use
Don't use Burrow to:
- Send spam or abuse via the magic-link email pipeline.
- Probe, attack, or attempt to extract data about other users.
- Anything that violates the terms of your underlying model provider (Anthropic, AWS, Google).
Abuse may result in your account, worker, and push tokens being revoked.

Changes
We may update these terms. If anything material changes we'll bump the "Last updated" date and email signed-in users.
